About west
I was raised in unincorporated Cobb County about 7 miles from downtown Marietta and grew up going to The Square, where I was baptized at First Presbyterian Church. When I was still in a baby basket, my godmother began taking me to Marietta Booster Club meetings. I continued to go with her through middle school. That’s how I first met Thunder Tumlin and Judge Harris Hines. I grew up enjoying meals at Jimmy the Greeks and Kiefer’s. I became quite a self proclaimed magician using gear I bought at Eddie’s Trick Stop.
I graduated from GA Tech with a Mechanical Engineering Degree and currently work for an engineering professional services practice. After graduating from Georgia Tech, I purchased my first house across from Northcutt Stadium. Since then, I have lived on the other side of Westside Elementary and now reside in Lewis Park with my two Golden Retrievers.
In my corporate organization I am a Philanthropy lead and support partnerships with One World Health and Trees Atlanta. I now attend City Church Marietta, and I am a member of Cobb Landmarks. Needless to say, I am very familiar with our neighborhoods, communities, local businesses, and have watched our city’s continued growth throughout my entire life.
I look forward to the opportunity to serve as your city council representative and ask for your vote on November 4th 2025 (Early voting starts October 14th).

Issues
Preservation
As someone who got their start with Marietta Parks & Recreation, I know how vital clean, safe parks are for building strong communities. I’ll advocate for continued park beautification and responsible growth that protects our historic character and tree canopy. I also support cutting red tape for small businesses—let’s make it easier to open and thrive in Marietta.
accessiblity
Improving sidewalks, roads, and bike access is key to keeping our city connected and safe. I support initiatives that make it easier for families to walk to school, reduce traffic, and promote a more walkable, livable Marietta.
Safeguarding homeowners
Protecting our home values and keeping neighborhoods safe starts with supporting the essential services we rely on. I’ll advocate for fair compensation and support for our city’s firefighters, police, EMTs, and sanitation workers—so we can retain the people who keep Marietta running.
Commitment to Philanthropy & Community Service
My journey of service began in 2006, when my fraternity participated in a community Easter egg hunt. That experience introduced me to local leaders and set me on a path of deep involvement with Marietta’s civic life.
Keep Marietta Beautiful: Member for 13 years, serving as President and leading initiatives like Love the Loop, recycling events, and community partnerships.
Farmers Market & Concerts: Nearly a decade helping set up the Farmers Market and Glover Concert Series, connecting directly with neighbors.
Hospice Volunteer: Seven years supporting families at Tranquility Hospice.
Historic Preservation: Helped create the Wilder-Glover Tannery Ruins plaque and contributed to local history projects.
Cultural Engagement: Docent for Christmas Pilgrimage home tours and active in Art in the Park.
Ongoing Leadership: Current Philanthropy Lead at my company and member of Cobb Landmarks.
